This happens because when the sleeping session starts, the voluntary muscles- which we can control ourselves like hand, legs, and body parts getting relax and stop working. On the other side, the involuntary muscles like- which we can’t control like heart, stomach, and lungs, etc… Internal body functioning parts keeps on doing work while sleep. During sleep, your body is working to support healthy brain function and maintain your physical health. Sleep deficiency can raise chance of many other health issues like heart related disease, obesity, Depression, etc…

An individual needs sleep for his physical and health development as getting a good quality of sleep  provides you healthy immune system, which helps you to protect you from many harmful disease. It has proven in research that you can live without eating and drinking for more than a month but you can’t survive more than 14-17 days if you continuously awaken or doesn’t sleep.  There are many health benefits of sleep which we’re going to discuss today in this article.

Effect to your learning and thinking power: Your memory gets weak and can’t able to remember the tasks if, you don’t get the enough sleep from a week or more than a week, you may see you start forgetting the things day by day. Along with this you may lose your thinking ability to work with conscious and attentive mind.

 Increase the chance of obesity: There is a high risk of obesity if people sleep less than five hours each night. Study shows that deficiency of sleep lead to weight gain and more likely to have the chance to gain weight.

 Many health related disease occurs: sleep deficiency raise the chances of heart diseases, kidney disease, high blood pressure and stroke, etc… This happens because sleep helps you to heal and repair your heart & blood vessels, and if you don’t you’ll not get good quality of sleep this lead to face these kinds of health problems.

Accident may be happen: There is high risk of automobiles accident can happened if you have been not sleeping from many hours. When you don’t take the adequate sleep throughout the night, you may face road accident due to day time sleepiness.

Risk of cancer may increase: According to AASM’s sleep statement, inadequate or lack of sleep involves increasing in higher rate of breast, colorectal, and prostate cancers.
